A big thank you and welcome!

Welcome to the blog for the Corinium range. So much has happened in the last 6 weeks it’s been hard to keep track. It started with a name change and just kept going! The website really only scratches the surface. Over the last 10 months we have been asked for so much: stalking, advice on kit selection, training and so on. To cover all this we had to grow, but how?

Well to start with we had to listen to what people wanted, impartial advice, tuition in all aspects of stalking no matter how basic or advanced as well as stalking itself. We made the decision to do something different. The magazines are full of stalking for sale, the shops want to sell you what makes them the most money – how many gunshop owners actually practice what they preach? Some may tell you they do but most of it is grossly exaggerated, they work in a shop 6 days a week! We don’t sell stalking or sell kit! We go stalking and use the kit that works best for us, you can rely on us to tell you what works, because we’ve tested it thoroughly and we teach you how to stalk or how to improve your stalking. We have a fantastic team with over 60 years stalking experience between us – we don’t claim to know everything but we know who to ask if we don’t! Enter Dama Deer Services, this is the extension to the range business that covers the 20,000 acres of stalking we have access to in conjunction with C & C Stalking as well as the training side. We are particularly exited about our Pre level 2 course – see the website of call us for details.

Anyway, a couple of recent updates. As usual we have our usual huge support from Open Season with Blaser and Mauser – if you want to try one come and see us. Glass – we have recently been chosen by Swarovski as a partner to showcase their scopes and binoculars which is a huge feather in our cap – so if you want to see and try some top end makes come to see us, we will even find you the best deal locally! On the 12th June, we will be hosting another open day where GMK will be present with all their brands, obviously that won’t be all, there will be Blasers covered in Swarovskis, Sauer etc. as well as a top local chef preparing venison. Everybody welcome, starting at 10.00.

As usual, the roe buck season has got off to a flying start for us both in the field as well as at the range with many people coming to check their kit is up to scratch before venturing out. We don’t just sit at benches for practice, we can accommodate every shooting position you are actually going to need in the field, even a specially constructed highseat is available. That's all for now, be sure to check us out regularly for updates and fieldtests.

Safe shooting
